Well unless you have a business license, and/or plan to buy in bulk, most likely you will not be able to get true wholesale prices. The reason for this is quite simple actually. If the average consumer could buy whatever they wanted at wholesale prices, why would anyone pay retail. Wholesale companies are all about quantity. They make very little on each individual item, but what profit they lack in per item sales they make up for in quantity. You see the people or should I say business that are buying a wholesale home security camera are most likely buying in bulk for resale purposes.
But I See Websites All Over the Internet Offering Wholesale Prices!
Yes this is true, sort of. You can try and buy anything at wholesale on the Internet and find a ton of sites claiming to sell it at wholesale prices. There are two main problems with almost all of these websites though. The first problem is that 95% of these sites are middlemen or dropshippers. They may offer you close to wholesale prices if you buy in bulk, but if buying individually they will raise the price on you. You see these companies are buying at true wholesale prices and are turning around and reselling these items to you at a small mark up.
The second problem with these sites, is quite frankly the sites themselves. Over half of all wholesale companies do not even have a website and the ones that do are very poorly optimized so most likely they are buried deep in the search results.
